Rockstar has not released a GTA 6 mission list. There's no official mission count, no named story missions in a trailer, and no tracklist-style breakdown of the campaign. Anyone offering a "full GTA 6 mission list" before launch is guessing or using leaked material.

What Rockstar has done is describe two exclusive jobs in the Ultimate Edition, let the press watch a few missions being played, and show plenty of story scenes in its trailers. Jobs Rockstar has described (Ultimate Edition)

Both of these come from Rockstar's own description of the Ultimate Edition, the pricier of the two editions, published in June 2026. Rockstar doesn't call them missions, and it hasn't said how they appear in the game, but they're the only specific jobs it has described in its own words.

The PTT Youngin$ compound raid

Rockstar's description asks you to "raid the compound of one of Southside Vice City's loudest and most socially active gangs" and "escape safely to score some special items and distinct contraband." It's tied to the PTT Youngin$ Illegal Goods Store, one of the Ultimate Edition's exclusive shops.

Wyman's classic car commission

A collector and fixer named Wyman, described by Rockstar as an "eccentric collector and local fixer", offers a special commission: "track down a variety of abandoned classic and work-in-progress project cars and revitalise them to their former glory."

Neither job is available in the Standard Edition.

Missions Rockstar has shown, without names

These sequences were played or shown by Rockstar, but Rockstar hasn't named them, and it hasn't said exactly where they sit in the story.

The Raul getaway mission

In a hands-off demo described in IGN's write-up, Rockstar North's Rob Nelson played a mission for Raul Bautista, the seasoned bank robber from Rockstar's character lineup. You shoot at pursuers while Lucia drives, then switch to driving yourself. Nelson said the game suggests an optimal route, but other routes still work. Rockstar describes Raul's recklessness as raising the stakes "on every job", so expect more work for him. For the open-world side of the demo, see Jason and Lucia's open-world activities.

The tower block escape

The same demo included an escape from a tower block with multiple routes out. Nelson used it to show that missions don't force one solution.

Extended Look: the deal gone wrong and the store robbery

GTA 6: An Extended Look, the roughly half-hour in-game video Rockstar premiered on August 27, 2026, opened with a drug deal that goes wrong. It also showed a store robbery with one character robbing the shop while the other drives the getaway car. Rockstar didn't name these sequences or say where they sit in the story.

Launch Trailer set pieces

The October 15 Launch Trailer showed a bank vault being blown open, a helicopter escape that seems to go wrong, Jason emerging from the water with armed men in tactical gear, and police pursuits throughout. They look like big story missions, possibly heists, but Rockstar hasn't named them or said they're playable missions. Story setups without mission names yet

Rockstar's official description sets the scene: Jason and Lucia "have always known the deck is stacked against them", and when "an easy score goes wrong", they find themselves in a criminal conspiracy across Leonida.

Its character profiles hint at who might hand out work. These are our reading of Rockstar's profiles, not confirmed missions:

Leaked and rumoured missions

Two big leaks have surrounded GTA 6. In September 2022, early development footage was posted online after a network intrusion, and Rockstar confirmed the footage was real. In August 2026, a set of gameplay clips from what appeared to be an unfinished build surfaced shortly before the Extended Look.

We don't list leaked mission names as confirmed, for two reasons. Footage from years before launch often doesn't match the final game, and mission names in development builds are frequently placeholders. If Rockstar later confirms a mission that first appeared in a leak, we'll add it with the official source. For the latest official reveals, follow GTA 6 news.

How many missions will GTA 6 have?

Rockstar hasn't said. For comparison, GTA V had 69 story missions, but that's a precedent, not a prediction. Rob Nelson's own playthrough took about 80 hours including some optional content, according to The New York Times, which points to a big campaign but gives no mission count; we break that down in how long is GTA 6. What Rockstar has said is that money matters more to the story this time, so you'll sometimes need to earn cash through robberies, car boosting or selling before you can progress. How this list will grow after launch

From launch day, we'll replace this page with the real thing: every story mission in order, named exactly as it appears in the game, with the character, the mission giver and a link to its walkthrough.
